Having served as a bomb disposal expert for 15 years with the Royal Navy, Simon and his wife Cassie were searching for change.

A shared love of skiing, climbing, cycling and walking led them to the slopes where they have lived for 7 years now.

Simon is delighted to be a part of The Ellie Soutter Foundation and honoured to be the Athlete Liaison where he hopes that he can play a small part in helping the athletes achieve their goals and ambitions.

He is an avid fund raiser for many charities especially those with links to the military and mental health awareness. Simon is keen to prove links between CTE and the appalling frequency of mental health problems in sport, the military and in particular the Bomb Disposal community.
