Having experienced a head injury and post concussion syndrome becoming an ambassador for TESF feels really close to home, I will use my platform to continue to educate and bring awareness to concussions and the detrimental damage they can do to our athletes if are not taken care of…but of course that there is light at the end of tunnel. All in the name of Ellie. ❤️

Mental health comes in many different forms, and one of them is through head impacts. This isn’t an excuse for mental health but just another form of it. This is the exact reason why it’s so important to educate people. I wanted to die after my concussion, but now out the other side I can’t imagine I once thought that ! Now I also can’t imagine how many athletes go through the same thing without even considering that the head impact might have been a cause, and that it is possible to fully recover. I don’t know why there’s so little education about it.”
