Louise Beasley

I live in a small Thameside village, close to the picturesque town of Henley Upon Thames. Formally, I was a Business Studies Teacher and Head of 6th Form at a large local senior school; after which I chose to pursue my creative side, combining with my business knowledge and became a director of a marketing agency.

Alongside my husband Richard and son Isaac I have had many a great ski holiday in Les Gets and enjoying all that the Port du Soleil area has to offer. 8 years ago, we decided to make Les Gets our second home as we love the village so much.

Increasingly I have spent more and more time in Les Gets, enjoying its beautiful mountains and the activities it holds, in both the winter and summer seasons.

In particular I enjoy snowshoeing with my two gorgeous Labradors up on the ‘Mont Chery’ as well as becoming a part of the wonderful Les Gets community. Through this community I met Tony and his incredible daughter Ellie who became very close friends. I have stood alongside Tony through the tragic passing of Ellie, and throughout the highs and lows of the past two years.

I was thrilled to be asked to become a committee member of the Ellie Soutter Foundation as I know I can bring many different perspectives to our meetings. These come from combining my two major skill sets of creativity and working alongside young people to help them through their personal challenges.
